Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital Jinzhu Hospital plans to invest 2.5 billion yuan, covering an area of 447.279 acres, with a preset capacity of 3000 beds; After construction, it will become a large-scale tertiary Grade A hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, emergency treatment, and healthcare. The provincial medical headquarters will also relocate here.

The construction of Jinzhu Hospital will be carried out in two phases. The first phase of the project will include the construction of two wards, an outpatient building, a medical technology building, and a comprehensive ward for the Women and Children's Hospital. The total construction area is 300000 square meters, with an estimated 2000 beds. The construction will be completed within three years. The second phase of the project will construct 100000 square meters of cadre wards, administrative office buildings, and is expected to build 4000 parking spaces.

The area of the hospital is three times that of the current provincial hospital, and it is expected to receive 10000 patients per day. The annual number of discharged patients is over 100000, and intermediate and above level medical personnel from the provincial hospital will be stationed in the future, "said Sun Zhaolin, the director of the provincial hospital.
