Wuhan Wuchang Hospital (Nanhu Campus)

Wuhan Wuchang Hospital is located in Yangyuan, Wuchang. It was founded in 1912 and has developed into a public tertiary comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, and health care after more than a century of construction and development. The hospital presents a "one body, three zones, and six wings" architecture, with three campuses (West, East, and Nanhu campuses), three community health service centers (Liyuan Street Community Health Service Center, Yangyuan Street First Community Health Service Center, and Luoshi Road Community Health Service Center), and undertakes the "120" Yangyuan Emergency Station and Dongsha Emergency Station.

The Nanhu Campus was relocated from Wudong to its current location in 2009, with a focus on psychiatric treatment. It has a comprehensive department and the Luoshi South Road Community Health Service Center in Shizishan Street, Hongshan District. We have various biochemical testing equipment, electrocardiogram monitors, X-ray machines, gastroscopes, B-ultrasound, electrocardiograms, electroencephalograms and other medical devices. Among them, psychiatry is a key clinical specialty in Hubei Province, with four independent wards. The Department of Psychiatry is a collaborative department between Shanghai Mental Health Center, Hubei Provincial People's Hospital, designated hospital of Hubei Provincial Armed Police Corps, and has signed designated cooperative hospitals with more than 20 universities. The Department of Psychology is an open department in our hospital area that focuses on psychotherapy. It adopts a combination of closed and open management methods for mental and psychological disorders, and provides personalized diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation services based on patients' different levels of needs such as mental, physiological, psychological, and socio-cultural. The psychiatric department regularly hires renowned experts and scholars from within and outside the province for consultations, lectures, and exchanges. Main treatment: diagnosis and treatment of organic mental disorders, schizophrenia, mild mania or depression, emotional disorders, neurosis (generalized anxiety disorder, phobic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, neurasthenia, somatoform disorders), hysteria, psychogenic disorders, insomnia, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and other psychosomatic diseases, as well as early schizophrenia and drug-related mental disorders.
