Huangmei County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was founded in 1958. After more than 50 years of arduous entrepreneurship by Huangmei Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, the hospital has now developed into a regional center for traditional Chinese medicine technology guidance that integrates medicine, education, research, and rehabilitation, as well as a second-class Grade A Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital. It is the counterpart support hospital of Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, the technical cooperation hospital of Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (Xinhua Hospital), the counterpart support hospital of Huangshi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Hubei Province, and the teaching base of Hubei University of Chinese Medicine. It has established good technical cooperation relationships with Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tongji, Peking Union Medical College, Provincial People's Hospital, Zhongnan, Yaxin and other hospitals. It is a designated hospital for urban medical insurance, new rural cooperative medical care, various commercial insurances, and work-related injury rehabilitation medical care in our county.
